Wave Events · Launching October 2026

Everything an event runs on, from the first ad to the last badge.

Marketing, registration, the box office, comps, sponsors, booths, exhibitors, and the door itself. One system from the campaign that fills the room to the badge somebody wears in it, rather than a ticketing site bolted to a spreadsheet and a floor plan in a PDF.

Where It Stands

Launching in October, and already taking money.

We would rather say this plainly than let a launch date hide inside a feature list. Two parts of Wave Events are running today at the Melville Chamber of Commerce, on our membership platform, with real registrations and real card payments behind them.

Live today

The box office

Registration, seat caps, waitlists, comps and paid checkout, in production at the Melville Chamber. That half is not a promise, it is the part we have already been running.

October 2026

The rest of it

Exhibitor applications and invoicing, the booth floor plan, sponsor packages, on-site check-in and badge printing, and exhibitor lead capture. Our own expos are what it launches on.

We run our own events, which is why this exists. Wave has produced its own wellness, beauty and fitness expos for years, and the software an organizer is expected to buy has never covered more than a slice of the job. See the expos →

Why It Exists

An event is five systems that do not speak.

Not one of them is bad on its own. The cost is the seams between them, and the seams all land on the same person in the last week before the doors open.

A ticketing siteTakes the money and a cut of it, and knows nothing about your floor.
A spreadsheet of exhibitorsWho paid, who picked a booth, who still owes a logo, kept by one person.
A floor plan in a PDFRedrawn by hand every time a booth moves, and wrong somewhere by the day of.
A separate email toolWith its own list, which is never the same list as the one that bought tickets.
A badge printer and a clipboardThe door, on the morning, with a queue forming behind it.
Nothing at all for leadsExhibitors leave with a bowl of business cards and no way to prove the room worked.

The floor plan is where it usually breaks. A booth gets moved on a phone call, the PDF is not redrawn, and an exhibitor arrives on the morning to find somebody in their space. One record behind the map and the invoice is the whole fix.

What It Does

The modules, end to end.

Registration and the box office are live at the Melville Chamber today. Everything else ships at the October launch, which is why this list says what it will do rather than pretending it already has.

MarketingLanding pages, email, and promotion across our own titles and ad server, so filling the room is part of the platform rather than a separate campaign.
RegistrationAttendees, exhibitors, speakers and staff on one form each, with the questions you actually need answered.
Box officeTickets, tiers, early bird, group rates, promo codes and comps, with seat caps and a waitlist that runs itself.
ExhibitorsApplications, approval, contracts and invoices, and a portal where an exhibitor uploads their own logo and copy.
The floorBooths on a real plan, sold, held or assigned, so the map and the invoice cannot disagree.
SponsorsPackages, what each one includes, and what has been delivered against it before anybody asks.
On-siteCheck-in, badge printing, and walk-ups taken at the door without a second system.
Lead captureExhibitors scan a badge and leave with a list, which is the thing that decides whether they book again.

For The Organizer

The four questions you get asked all week.

Who has paid?

Attendees, exhibitors and sponsors on one ledger, so the answer is a screen rather than three exports and a reconciliation.

Who is in which booth?

The plan is the record. Move a booth and the map, the invoice and the exhibitor's own portal all change together.

Did the sponsor get what they bought?

Every package lists what it includes and what has been delivered, so the renewal conversation starts from evidence.

Did the room work?

Check-ins against registrations, and a lead list per exhibitor, which is what decides whether they book the next one.

For The Exhibitor

The people who decide whether you have a second year.

An exhibitor rebooks on two things: how little administration it took, and whether they left with anything they can follow up.

They apply and pay in one place

Application, approval, contract and invoice in a single flow, instead of a form, an email thread and a payment link sent separately.

They fill in their own listing

Logo, copy, contacts and staff passes, uploaded by them, which is also how the program and the signage stop being retyped.

They leave with a list

Badge scanning at the booth, exported the same day, while the conversation is still worth something to the person who had it.

The Platforms

Four platforms, four live businesses.

Wave Events runs our own expos from October. Wave Publisher runs our two titles. Wave Community runs the Melville Chamber. Wave Workforce runs this agency. Each one is licensable on its own.

Wave Events and Wave Community are not the same product. A membership organization running its own members' evenings wants Wave Community, where events are one module beside the directory. An organizer selling tickets and booths to people who are not members yet wants this. See Wave Community →

Owned & Partner Properties

We run our own businesses on it first.

Four platforms we wrote, and the live businesses behind them. Two titles we publish on Wave Publisher, a chamber of commerce we run with its board on Wave Community, a consumer app of our own, and our expos moving onto Wave Events in October. Wave Ads is the ad server inside the first two.

Common Questions

What organizers ask first.

It has not launched. Why would I talk to you now?+
Because an event booked for next spring is being planned now, and the organizers we onboard before October get the platform shaped around a real show rather than a generic one. If your event is this month, the honest answer is that we should talk after the launch.
What is actually running today?+
Registration and the box office: seat caps, waitlists, comps and paid card checkout, in production at the Melville Chamber of Commerce on Wave Community. The exhibitor, floor plan, sponsor and on-site modules ship in October.
How is this different from Wave Community?+
Wave Community is a membership platform whose events module runs a member organization's own calendar. Wave Events is built for selling tickets and booth space to people who are not members of anything: exhibitors, sponsors, a floor, and a door with badges at it.
Do you take a cut of ticket sales?+
No. It is licensed like the rest of our platforms, so what you charge and what you keep are yours. Card processing is charged by the processor at their own rate, the same as it would be anywhere.
Can you market the event as well as run it?+
Yes, and that is the part most event software has no answer for. We are a marketing agency with our own publications and ad server, so filling the room can run on the same system that seats it.
Who owns the attendee and exhibitor data?+
You do, and you keep it if we ever part ways. It is your list, it is never pooled with another organizer's, and it is never sold.
