Wave Agency

Food & Beverage

One room or a whole group, the counter or the tasting menu.

MarketingMediaAI

We work across the whole span of hospitality: a single neighborhood room, a growing group with a second and third concept, and the flagship at the top of it where the check average and the standard both change. Marketing, media, and AI from one in-house team, built on the systems you already run on. Since 2001, with offices in Melville, NY, Boca Raton, FL, and soon Miami.

Where You Sit

From one room to a group, and from the counter to the tasting menu.

Nobody in hospitality is served well by a plan written for the middle of the market. What a single room needs from marketing is not what a group needs, and what a fast counter needs is not what a destination needs. We start by saying plainly which one you are.

  1. One roomOwner-operated, one calendar, one reputation. The work is being findable, looking worth the drive, and keeping the regulars who already carry you.
  2. A second conceptThe point where one person stops being able to hold it all. Brands start to need separating, and the systems have to stop living in somebody's phone.
  3. A groupSeveral concepts, one back office. Now it is a portfolio question: shared reporting, shared media weight, and a standard that holds across rooms that should not look alike.
  4. The flagshipThe room at the top, where the check average and the expectation both change. Fewer covers, higher stakes, and photography and service that have to be right rather than frequent.
A neighborhood tableA destination

We run all four at once, which is the reason we can talk about any of them honestly. A group's flagship and its casual room want opposite things from the same marketing team, and the mistake is running the second like a smaller version of the first.

Two Sides of Growth

More first visits, more regulars who return.

Food and beverage runs on both: new guests discovering you, and the regulars who keep coming back. We build for both.

Get Discovered

The Unfair Advantage

Most agencies rent the audience. We publish ours.

Any agency can buy you ads. When the budget stops, so does the reach. We publish two titles of our own, end to end, so restaurants and food brands can earn real editorial coverage on Long Island instead of renting attention by the impression.

Built In-House

An intelligent ad network runs both titles.

We did not bolt an ad exchange onto our publications. We built the ad server. Advertisers, creative, placements, and reporting all live in our own system on Cloudflare's edge, which means no Google ad tag, no auction taking a cut, and no third party sitting between a brand and the readers we spent years earning.

01 / Decisions at Request Time

Every slot filled on the fly

Placements are not hardcoded. As a page is served, the network reads the slot, pulls the advertisers eligible for it, and rotates between them, so a position is shared fairly instead of belonging to whoever booked first.

02 / Format-Aware Creative

The right shape, every time

Each placement declares the format it accepts, and the network matches creative to it. A wide banner is never squeezed into a square, and an Enhanced buy runs its banner and its box as two pieces of real inventory.

03 / Counted at the Source

Numbers that actually happened

Impressions and clicks are recorded by our own server as they occur, not by a tracking pixel an ad blocker can drop. Reporting reflects what ran, broken out by placement.

04 / Nothing Follows the Reader

First-party by design

There is no third-party ad tag anywhere on the site. Pages stay fast, the sites ship a strict content security policy, and reader data never leaves the publication.

Two packages. Standard places your creative in the square units across the site. Enhanced adds a wide banner and runs both, so your brand competes for every slot on the page. Each title keeps its own advertisers, its own creative, and its own numbers. Nothing is pooled, and nothing is resold through a network we do not control.

How It Connects

One system, from craving to repeat order.

Your brand sets the standard and the plan. We carry it through marketing, media, technology, and the guest experience, all the way to every guest.

Your BrandSingle or Multi-LocationMarketingMediaAI & SoftwareGuest ExperienceEvery Guest

The same brand, the same standard, and the same tools, from first impression to every guest.

Wave Platforms

Around the clock, for restaurants and food brands.

We do not license someone else's software and mark it up. Swell and Harbor are ours, written in house and trained on how your business actually runs. Here is what each one does for you.

You get your own dashboard. Sign in whenever you want and see exactly what moved, what the platforms changed, and why. See both platforms →

Local Market Intelligence

Built around the guests in your neighborhood.

Food and beverage is local first. Your guests live and work nearby, and what wins in one neighborhood does not always win in the next. We learn your market first.

We work with the community and local partners so your brand reaches the guests who are actually nearby.

Audience Mapping

We define who your ideal guest actually is in your market, not a national average.

Community and Local Partners

We work with local organizations, partners, and voices on the ground to reach people where they already are.

Local Media and Activations

Regional press, events, sponsorships, and our own Long Island Wave audience put your brand in front of the right market.

Message Tuned to the Region

Creative, offers, and channels are adjusted so each market hears something built for it.

Toast & OpenTable

We build on the systems you already run on.

Almost nobody wants to change their point of sale or their reservation book, and almost nobody should have to in order to fix their marketing. We work inside Toast and OpenTable rather than around them, and we lay agents over the top of both to take the repetitive half of the day.

Toast

The check knows things your marketing does not.

Point of sale is where the truth about a menu lives: what sells, what sits, what the average check does on a Tuesday against a Friday. Most of it never reaches the people writing the promotions. We connect it so the marketing argues from the numbers rather than from a hunch.

  • Menu and item performance in the plan
  • Online ordering that matches the room
  • Loyalty and guest data in one place
  • Reporting an owner will actually open
OpenTable

A reservation is the only conversion that matters.

Every route we build ends at the book: the site, the map listing, the post, the newsletter, the story in one of our own titles. We wire reservations properly so the path from wanting a table to holding one is one step, and so the covers can be traced back to what caused them.

  • Booking on every page that earns one
  • Attribution from campaign to cover
  • Waitlist and shift coverage
  • Private events and large parties

The Agentic Overlay

Agents on top of both, doing the part nobody was hired for.

Neither platform is the problem. The problem is the hour a manager spends every day moving information between them, chasing what did not happen, and answering the same four questions. That is the work agents are good at, and it runs overnight.

Reservation follow-up

Confirmations, no-show chasing, and the waitlist worked before service, not after it.

Reviews, answered

Every review read and drafted for a reply the same day, in your voice, with anything serious escalated instead of answered.

Invoices and vendors

Delivery invoices matched to what arrived, priced against the last order, and flagged when a cost moves.

The numbers, every morning

Covers, sales, and the exceptions in one note before the first shift, pulled from both systems rather than two dashboards.

Guests, kept

The guest list built from real visits, so the email that goes out is to people who came, not to a list somebody bought.

Private events

Inquiries qualified, dates checked, and a proposal drafted before anyone on your side has read the email.

To be plain about what we are and are not. We are not reselling Toast or OpenTable and we hold no partner badge from either. We build against them, we connect what they hold to the rest of your marketing, and we put our own agents on top. If a different system is already working for you, we build against that one instead. More on the agents themselves is on AI Workforce.

Common Questions

Questions owners ask.

Do you shoot the food and the restaurant yourselves?+
Yes, in house. See restaurant video production and photography, shot around a live service rather than closing one.
Do you work with single locations or multi-location groups?+
Both. We support a single brand at the local level and multi-location groups at the system level, often at the same time.
Can you handle our software and systems?+
Yes. We build and connect online ordering, reservations, loyalty, CRM, email and SMS, and reporting, alongside marketing and media.
Do you work with Toast and OpenTable?+
Yes, and we build against them rather than asking you to leave them. We are not reselling either one and we hold no partner badge from either, which we would rather say plainly. If you run a different point of sale or reservation book, we build against that instead. See Toast & OpenTable.
What does an agent actually do in a restaurant?+
The repetitive half of a manager's day: confirmations and no-show chasing, the waitlist worked before service, reviews read and drafted for a reply, delivery invoices matched to what arrived, and the covers and sales in one note before the first shift. Judgment and anything a guest would notice stays with your people. More on AI Workforce.
We are a group with very different concepts. Can one team do all of them?+
That is the normal case rather than the hard one. The back office is shared, the reporting is shared, and the media weight is shared, while each room keeps its own voice. The mistake to avoid is running a casual room like a smaller version of the flagship.
Do you produce the photo and video content too?+
Yes. In-house photo and video for social, web, and ads is part of what we do.
Do we have to use all three pillars?+
No. Start with marketing, media, technology, or systems. It is one team either way, so adding the next piece is simple.
Do you work outside Long Island?+
Yes. We are based in Melville, NY and Boca Raton, FL, with Miami opening, and we support clients regionally and nationally.
