The Melville Chamber is its own organization, with its own board, its own members, and its own voice. What Wave provides is everything underneath: the site, the directory every member is listed in, the portal where they edit that listing themselves, the events calendar with registration and paid checkout, the member feed, the newsletters, the native apps, and the ad server that fills the placements.
It is one system rather than a website plus six subscriptions. A member updates their hours once and it changes on the site, in the directory, and in both apps, because there is only one record of it.

What It Runs
A chamber is more software than anyone expects.
The Directory
Every member business, searchable by category and town, with a page of its own that the member controls.
The Member Portal
Members sign in and edit their own listing, hours, photos, and contacts. Nobody emails the office to change a phone number.
Events and Checkout
The calendar, registration, seat counts, and paid tickets for non-members, handled end to end.
The Member Feed
Members post their own news, and it reaches the other members rather than an algorithm.
Native Apps
iPhone and Android, built in house, sharing one account and one set of data with the site.
Ad Inventory
Placements across the site and the apps, served, rotated, and counted by our own ad server.
