Most dental practices are one office with one door. Destination Dental in Hauppauge is closer to a campus. Under one roof at 400 Townline Road it brings together a full dental practice, a full-arch rehabilitation center, an ambulatory surgery center, a digital restorative lab, a teaching forum for dental professionals and a medical spa. The practice calls it Six Entities, One Destination.
It is led by Dr. Lynn Pierri, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who has cared for Long Island families for more than 40 years. The practice’s website ran on WordPress. We rebuilt it from the ground up, and the new site went live on destinationdentalusa.com in July 2026.

Explaining a campus without overwhelming a patient
The challenge with a practice this broad is that two very different people arrive at the same home page. One is a parent looking for a gentle first visit for a child. The other is a dentist looking for a hands-on course. Both need to find their way in seconds, and neither should have to read about the other.
So the site is organized around what a visitor came to do. Services covers the six kinds of care in patient language, from general and restorative dentistry to pediatric and special needs care. Our Campus gives each entity its own page, with what it does, its suite in the building and how it connects to the rest. About introduces Dr. Pierri. Patient Resources puts the forms, insurance, financing and referral information in one place, ready before a first visit.

An appointment request that respects the line
The old site used a third-party form embedded in the contact page. We replaced it with an appointment request built into the site, and we were careful about what it asks.
It asks who you are and how to reach you, whether you are a new patient, an existing patient or a referring provider, the best time to come in, the area of care you are interested in and how you heard about the practice. It deliberately does not ask about symptoms, medications or history, and it says so on the page: anything clinical is handled through the practice’s secure patient forms once a visit is booked. A website contact form is the wrong place for health information, and keeping it out is the right call for patients and for the practice.
Every request is saved the moment it is sent, the patient gets a short note confirming it arrived, and the front desk is notified. Someone in pain is told on the form itself to call instead.

An admin for the front desk
Behind the form sits an admin we built for the practice. The front desk sees each request as it arrives, marks where it stands as they call the patient back, and leaves a note for whoever picks it up next. Marketing analytics live in the same admin for the practice’s leadership, kept off the front desk’s screen so their daily view stays focused on the people waiting for a call.
Events for the profession
The Destination Forum is a teaching entity, and the site gives it an Events page for its courses and evenings. The next one on the calendar is An Evening of Innovations on November 17, 2026, with six speakers from across the industry. Past events stay listed as an archive, so the record of what the Forum has hosted keeps building.
Writing patients can use
The blog answers the questions patients actually search for before they call: what to expect at a first visit, how the implant process unfolds, how to help an anxious child, what to do in a dental emergency. Each article ends with more reading from the blog, so one answer leads to the next.
Careful with the old addresses
A practice that has been online for years has links to it everywhere: other sites, old emails, printed materials, Google itself. Every address from the WordPress site was mapped to its new home, including the old PDF forms. The handful of old pages with no real equivalent are marked as gone, which tells search engines plainly rather than leaving them to guess. The site also describes the practice, its address and its services in the structured form search engines and AI assistants read.
Thank you
Thank you to Dr. Pierri and the whole Destination Dental team for trusting us with a practice that has taken four decades to build. It has been a pleasure to help explain it.
